About Us

Maple Valley Rotary is part of a larger organization known as Rotary International. Rotary International is the largest service organization club in the world. There are over 1.2 million Rotarians who pledge a commitment to "Service Above Self". In more than 34,000 Rotary Clubs worldwide, you’ll find members volunteering in communities at home and abroad to support education and job training, provide clean water, combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, and eradicate polio.

As a local club, we are a group of 80 men and women ages 35-75+ who share similar interests and values. We come together for friendship, and to share our time and talents in order to make a difference in our community and internationally. 

Our meetings are an informal gathering of friends who work together toward a common purpose: the betterment of our community and the world. We meet weekly, on Friday mornings at 7:15 am at the Greater Maple Valley Community Center (GMVCC) and the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month at 5:00 pm at Vintage Vino and Espresso.

Rotary’s motto of “SERVICE ABOVE SELF” describes what Maple Valley Rotary is all about.
